AEW Full Gear goes down on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Bloody rematches, brand new titles, and other important title matches. These are the predictions for the subject to change the main card.
Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Moné – Singles match for the AEW Women’s World Championship
One can only hope Kris Statland retains her title. Mercedes Mone won the ROH Women’s Television Champion to go along with the plethora of titles she carries around, pretending most have more worth than they really do. Mone could never be half the athlete of Statlander, and has recently lost a match for this very title.
Statlanders’ run so far has been lacklustre as a champion, albeit far too early in the run to make a fair judgment. AEW should realize that, and also that putting yet another strap on the CEO would diminish women’s wrestling even further. Look for the champ to retain.
“Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe – Steel Cage match for the AEW World Championship Full Gear
This is a promising matchup with two men who are always leaving it all in the ring. It feels like just the middle of Adam Page’s title run as the fighting, babyface champion. Samoa Joe is still running rampant as AEW Trio’s Champions with The Opps, so dropping the world title on him would feel abrupt. Joe has carried the aggression in the promo segments leading up, and it’s destined to be a physical masterpiece.
Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) (with Stokely) – Tag team match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship
The unlikely team of Bandido and Brody King has turned into amazing matches and talented champions; they’ve even had PPV defenses. FTR has been turning up the heel antics in their promos leading up to, and Stoke, their new manager, may just put them in line to dethrone the fan favorites. They’ve had a great run, but it feels like time for a change in the tag division. Look for new champions to be crowned at Full Gear.
Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express (“Jungle” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and Josh Alexander – $1,000,000 Trios match
AEW is getting quite desperate with how many times they use a cash bonus stipulation to try and trick the audience into thinking it’s a bigger match than it really is. Jurrasic Express is the newly reunited babyface team, and Kenny Omega is always a crowd-pleaser. On this week’s episode of Dynamite, The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander got the better of their opponents, so look for the payoff to go to Omega, Jack Perry, and Luchasaurus.
All Participants TBA – Casino Gauntlet match for the inaugural AEW National Championship.
It’s difficult to determine a match with so many participants, never mind the fact that most of them haven’t been announced. So far, there’s Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Ricochet, Kevin Knight, and Mike Bailey are confirmed. AEW has mentioned this title is to be defended across promotions, so it’d be a good idea to look for talent most likely to do so. Konosuke Takeshita is one of the best talents on the roster and deserves a championship.
Kyle Fletcher (c) (with Don Callis) vs. Mark Briscoe – No Disqualification match for the AEW TNT Championship, and if Briscoe loses, he will be forced to join the Don Callis Family
It’s both difficult to see Kyle Fletcher dropping the title to Mark Briscoe and to see Briscoe joining the Don Callis Family. It’s certainly easy to see this is a promising matchup. It could be time to push The Protostar into the world title picture, and nobody can say Briscoe hasn’t paid his dues. It’s going to seem hopeless during the match from interference from Fletcher’s factionmates, but The Conglomeration will aid the challenger to victory in the end.
Darby Allin vs. Pac – Singles match Full Gear
Darby Allin may be the toughest guy on the roster, but he doesn’t hold a candle to his opponent’s in-ring abilities. Allin does boast a ring IQ along with agility and high spots to make most of his matches entertaining. That being said, not many people could ever do half the things Pac does in the ring. That doesn’t make him more popular, though, so look for the crowd favorite to pull out the victory.
Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) vs. Timeless Love Bombs (Mina Shirakawa and “Timeless” Toni Storm) vs. Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne – Four-way tag team match where the winning team chooses the stipulation for their semifinal match in the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament
A stipulation match for a semi-final has no business stealing people’s money on PPV. The Sisters of Sin have spent all their time on the outfits for the gimmick, and don’t appear any stronger or more talented. Willow Nightingale is worthy of gold, but not when tagging with Harley Cameron. The heel team of Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne is intimidating and strong women. Look for them to win the advantage as heels, just to make the babyface tournament winners look that much better.
Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly – No Holds Barred match Full Gear
This match will likely be the bloodiest one on the card. After a violent interaction at Blood and Guts, the pair is set to continue the show. It’s quite the jump for Kyle O’Reilly to go from buried on the card to being in the main event picture with John Moxley. With the match stipulation, look for Mox to put on a match that makes O’Reilly look strong in a loss, perhaps with the help of the Deathriders.
