AEW Collision results from the August 22, 2026 episode.
Orange Cassidy Vs. Kyle O’Reilly: Continental Challenge Cup
AEW Collision this week kicked off with a Continental Challenge Cup quarterfinal match between “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly, fellow members of The Conglomeration. For all they know, it was unfortunate to see them use so many gimmick spots. O’Reilly picked up the submission victory after an uncharacteristically soft match.
Divine Dominion: AEW Collision Results
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Cross), gave a five-minute challenge to an unknown duo, already in the ring. One can only hope this leads to more intriguing matchups down the line, as it’s a solid idea. There wasn’t even an after-match run-in, truly making this a filler segment in these AEW Collision results.
Daniel Garcia Vs. Claudio Castagnoli: Continental Challenge Cup
A second quarterfinal match between Daniel Garcia and Claudio Castagnoli, another faction-mate brawl, this time it’s the Death Riders. They brought a more physical and entertaining match, even if Garcia was clearly outclassed and outsized. Castagnoli gave his friend some shine, but ultimately ripped his opponent’s boot off to win via submission.
The Hurt Business, Shane Taylor Promotions, & Bang Bang Gang: AEW Collision Results
The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, accompanied by MVP) teamed with ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty (with Shane Taylor Promotions) in another squash match on Collision. Their opponents didn’t even get their names mentioned, never mind graphics.
After the match, Shane Taylor Promotions (The Infinitary and Shane Taylor) issued an open challenge trios match, answered by the Bang Bang Gang (The Gunns and “Switchblade” Jay White). STP is underrated, so it was disappointing to see them job out so quickly and cleanly. White called out the trios champs after the win in these AEW Collision results.
Nick Wayne & Tommaso Ciampa Vs. Mike Bailey & Kommander: AEW Collision Results
Nick Wayne and “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Kommander was next. Everyone had their brief moment to work in their gimmick spots, but Ciampa and Wayne picked up the fairly straightforward victory, even if they didn’t get along afterward.

Maya World Vs. Willow Nightingale: AEW Women’s World Championship
TBS Champion Maya World had a shot at Willow Nightingale and her AEW Women’s World Championship to main-event Collision. World had a couple of spots, but Nightingale tossed her around like a rag dolland heads to All In to defend the title against Mercedes Moné.
