These are the AEW Dynamite results from the June 3, 2026, episode. The Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Tournaments continue, and other championship storylines unfold as Forbidden Door approaches.
AEW World Heavyweight Championship Match – MJF Vs. Rush
The AEW World Heavyweight Championship was on the line in a no-countout match, with Rush challenging MJF. The champ’s heel antics were on display immediately when he came out in the gear of a bull-fighter for his opponent, “El Toro Blanco.” Rush was in control early – his crisp striking stood out early. MJF fought back when an exposed turnbuckle cut open the challenger’s skull. A crossface submission by the champ ultimately made the challenger pass out.
MJF tried to inflict further damage after the match. Rush was helped first by Mark Briscoe, followed by The Conglomeration, forcing the champ to powder to end the segment.
Mark Briscoe Vs. Lio Rush – AEW Dynamite Results
Briscoe had a match with “Blackheart” Lio Rush immediately following the run-in. Their contest was more theatrical than anything.
Briscoe grabbed a microphone post-victory. He’d reminisce about his late brother, Jay Briscoe, before challenging MJF for the title. MJF declined the request later in the evening, during a backstage interview.
AEW Women’s World Title Picture
AEW Women’s World Champion “The Toxic Spider” Thekla, accompanied by the rest of Triangle of Madness, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue, had a promo segment next. Thekla is on a mission to eliminate the wrestling promotion Stardom, and it seems like an open challenge to that company for the upcoming Forbidden Door PPV.
The Don Callis Family
Andrade El Idolo had a squash match with someone already in the ring who didn’t get a name graphic, never mind an entrance. Andrade’s entrance was also longer than the match itself. Don Callis interrupted the winner to announce the latest member of The Don Callis Family, AEW TBS Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight.
This felt strange considering Andrade is also part of the family. They have forshadowed a beef, as he seems to be the sole member of the faction unhappy with the results of the leader. There must be more to come of this.
AEW TBS Championship Match – Kevin Knight Vs. Mike Bailey
Knight then defended his championship against friend-turned-foe “Speedball” Mike Bailey. The familiarity aided in some great pace and slick reversals. It may have also added to the striking, and both seemed to be laying it in a bit stiffer than usual. The Don Callis Family was ultimately the difference, aiding in The Jet’s victory.
Alex Windsor Vs. Mercedes Mone – AEW Dynamite Results
A match in the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament quarterfinals was next, featuring NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Alex Windsor, who would have to face an unknown wild card after Willow Nightingale pulled out due to injury. The surprise replacement was Mercedes Mone. Not the quickest match, but believable false finishes went both ways. Mone tapped out Windsor to advance.
Will Ospreay Vs. Mark Davis – AEW Dynamite Results
The Men’s Owen Hart Semifinals were featured on Dynamite. It was “The Ariel Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. AEW National Champion Mark Davis. This main event was easily the match of the night. The physicality and intensity from both guys made everything realistic. They also had unique move sets and tremendous reversals. Both men also had false finishes that had fans out of their seats.
Everything led to a moment when the referee was accidentally knocked out. The Don Callis Family aided Davis, leading to the Death Riders aiding Osprey, whom they recently took under their wing. It was bedlam, with a new ref eventually being sent out to call for the bell. Osprey picked up the submission victory.
