
Greenville, S.C. – Thirteen home matches at Stone Soccer Stadium, including Southern Conference showdowns versus Wofford, VMI, UNC Greensboro, Chattanooga, and Western Carolina, highlight Furman women’s soccer’s 2026 schedule, it was announced this week.

“This year’s schedule presents a lot of opportunities to test ourselves in the non-conference before playing a very challenging Southern Conference slate,” said Paladin head coach Andrew Burr, who is entering his 22nd season at the helm of the program. “We have a very experienced team returning and had a productive spring, so we are excited heading into the 2026 season.”

The Paladins kickoff the 2026 season on August 8 with an exhibition match against ACC power Clemson at Stone Stadium. Following the regular season opener at Charlotte on August 13, the Paladins open the home schedule versus the North Greenville Trailblazers on August 18 before traveling to SEC foe South Carolina on August 23.

Following its clash against the Gamecocks, Furman returns to Stone Stadium for seven consecutive home games, culminating with the September 17 SoCon opener versus instate rival Wofford. VMI visits Greenville on September 27 with UNC Greensboro and Chattanooga making visits to Stone Stadium on October 15 and 18, respectively. The home schedule and regular season slate concludes on November 1 with a visit from defending league champion Western Carolina.

The 2026 SoCon road slate will include trips to new league member Tennessee Tech, The Citadel, Samford, ETSU, and Mercer.
SoCon Tournament play begins on November 6 and concludes with the championship match on November 15.
Furman is set to return nine starters and its top three scorers from a 2025 squad that posted a 10-4-5 overall record and 3-2-4 SoCon mark. The Paladins’ list of returnees includes second team All-SoCon choices Norah Roller, Maddie Massie, Ellie Herrmann, and SoCon All-Freshman selection Jessica Mattson.
