AEW Double or Nothing Final Card & Latest Predictions 2026

The predictions and AEW Double or Nothing final card below take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens.

  • Click here for a recap of the special 3-hour Dynamite/Collision from the go-home show.

Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita – Singles match for the AEW International Championship

This match is destined to be a classic. Both men are physical masterminds in there, and they’ve been slowly elevating the intensity of the beef for weeks leading up. Both Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada have been with The Don Callis Family, with hints of Takeshita peeling out as a babyface. Okada has been reigning since July, and this title drop would elevate the challenger into his own storylines. Look for a new AEW International Champion this weekend.

FTR (c) vs. Cage and Cope – “I Quit” match for AEW World Tag Team Championship: If Cage and Cope lose, they must retire as a tag team

Do Cage and Cope want to retire their team in a blaze of glory, or would they prefer to go on one last title run? They may be out of their prime, but this feels like the whole reason they came to AEW – one last run. It may be a year overdue, but it seems AEW is finally giving them their swan song. Expect FTR to drop the title, but it won’t be for a lengthy run.

Jericho, The Hurt Syndicate, and The Elite vs. The Demand, The Don Callis Family, and The Dogs – Stadium Stampede match

While it always has entertaining spots, the Stadium Stampede matches are often more chaotic than an entertaining back-and-forth. The Hurt Syndicate and Jericho are just returning to regular television, and there are plenty of guys to take the pin on the other team. A member of The Demand will be pinned for the finish.

Thekla (c) vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander – Four-way match for the AEW Women’s World Championship

Thekla’s been on a solid run as AEW Women’s World Champion, and none of the other participants have any momentum to justify a title drop. There’s been foreshadowing of an issue between Hikaru Shida and Jamie Hayter, so look for a storyline to come from that, but the Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) will aid in fellow Triangle of Madness member, Tekla, in the win.

Samoa Joe vs. Will Ospreay – Men’s Owen Hart Cup Quarterfinal

This is a clash of two legends. Jon Moxley and the Death Riders have taken Will Ospreay under their wing, and he’s already unveiling new layers to his character. He still works in plenty of exciting high spots, but he’s using a more physical style, including the introduction of a submission finisher. Samoa Joe hasn’t been on TV as much or had storylines as deep as Ospreay. Joe is the perfect name to put him and his new gimmick over.

Bandido vs. Swerve Strickland – Men’s Owen Hart Cup Quarterfinal

Bandido is highly underappreciated outside Mexico, and is certain to bring intensity and high-flying, against a man also dominant in both, Swerve Strickland. The winner, obviously, will be Strickland. He’s one of the biggest draws on the roster, while Bandido has been mostly featured on ROH. That said, both stars will leave it all in the ring for the audience.

Athena vs. Mina Shirakawa – Women’s Owen Hart Cup Quarterfinal

“The Fallen Goddess” Athena is the ROH Women’s World Champion, and the most dominant one at that. Mina Shirakawa has been a great worker for the company, but it’s an unfair comparison, at least in North America. It’s going to take a bigger name to eliminate Athena from the tournament.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly – Singles match for the AEW Continental Championship

This match is a difficult prediction. AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley has tapped out to Kyle O’Reilly in tag action, and O’Reilly took him to a time-limit draw on Dynamite to earn this title shot. It would feel like beating a dead horse to have Moxley already put him over a few times, to lose once again. The challenger is currently one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions with The Conglomeration, so he’s got storylines he can transition into after this loss. Fans can look forward to the intensity, physicality, and also technical mat work.

Darby Allin (c) vs. MJF Title vs. Hair match for the AEW World Championship

AEW World Heavyweight Champion Darby Allin has put on a PPV-caliber title defense each consecutive week and beaten some of the biggest and baddest. That, however, is the perfect storyline to drop the title in a violent brawl. It’s also hard to imagine someone with the pull of MJF agreeing to shave their head. Fans can expect both guys to be a bloody mess, but there will be a new AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
