These AEW results are from the Double or Nothing go-home show on May 20, 2026. What would unfold on the last episode before the PPV? This was a special 3-hour broadcast which also included this week’s episode of Collision.
AEW Results – The Young Bucks & Jericho Vs. Don Callis Family & Ricochet
The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) and Jericho versus The Don Callis Family (IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Andrade El Idolo and AEW National Champion Mark Davis, accompanied by Don Callis) and Ricochet in trios action kicked off the show. The match had great pace and back-and-forth, plus all participants laid in some stiff striking. The match was largely to promote the Stadium Stampede match this Sunday at Double or Nothing. David Finlay, scheduled for Sunday but not tonight, aided in the victory for The Don Callis Family. The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin), Gates of Agony, and Clark Connors all joined the action for a ringside brawl.
AEW Results – Tommaso Ciampa Vs. Mark Briscoe
“Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa versus Mark Briscoe faced off in a no-disqualification match. They certainly made use of the match type, including a fire extinguisher, tables, kendo sticks, and even Briscoe’s head being cut open with a cheese grater.
The trauma to Briscoe’s skull didn’t end there, as he ended up with staples to the dome. Don’t get it wrong, Ciampa took his bumps too – including, but not limited to, being sliced up with a screwdriver and a scary chair spot.
Briscoe picked up the victory, but both stars were shining bright. They brought all the hardcore one could want, but also used storyline and facial expressions to sell it.
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match, Jon Moxley Vs. Kyle O’Reilly
One-third of the AEW World Trios Champions, Kyle O’Reilly, had an Eliminator match against Jon Moxley, where if he won, he would get a crack at the AEW Continental Championship. It was a relatively physical match, but it just fell flat following the previous match. O’Reilly and Moxley battled all the way to a time limit draw, resulting in a title match with no time limit set to be announced.
AEW Results – Triangle Of Madness & Athena Vs. Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa, and Brawling Birds
ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena, teamed with Triangle of Madness (AEW Women’s World Champion “The Toxic Spider Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue), to take on Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa, and The Brawling Birds (Jayme Hayter and Alex Windsor) in an eight-woman tag match. These women did a fantastic job using all participants while keeping it tidy and smooth with reversals. The finish had Hart hit Rosa with black mist, allowing Thekla to pin her.
AEW World Heavyweight Championship Match, Darby Allin Vs. Mike Bailey
AEW World Heavyweight Champion Darby Allin defended the title against “Speedball” Mike Bailey, accompanied by AEW TNT Champion, “The Jet” Kevin Knight. They were certain to advertise the upcoming title match between Allin and MJF on Sunday, and the challenger joined the commentators at ringside, so the match was always obvious. Still, this one had two talented stars putting on a show nonetheless.
It was relatively soft compared to his previous title defenses, but it’s hard to blame him with a PPV in a few days. Bailey ultimately tapped out to the Scorpion Death Lock.
Darby Allin, MJF
At this point in the evening, Dynamite officially transitioned into Collision. Bayley and Allin were still in the ring, and Knight cut a promo over commercial break. JetSpeed left the ring together, which is when MJF blindsides the exhausted champion. The title match this weekend is title vs. hair, so the challenger tried to shave the champion, but he avoided anything further.
AEW Results – Will Ospreay Vs. Katsuyori Shibata
The first match of Collision was “The Ariel Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata. Fellow member of The Opps, Anthony Bowens, tried to help Shibata, which actually led to Ospreay getting hit by his own finisher.
Ospreay kicked out, made the babyface comeback, and pulled out the victory using that very finisher. Samoa Joe emerged at the top of the entrance ramp, cutting a promo for their upcoming match at Double or Nothing in the Owen Hart Tournament.
Rush, Divine Dominion, Squash Matches
Rush had a squash match and a lesser-known talent, already in the ring. He grabbed a mic post-match, but only said his catchphrase. This was a waste of three minutes.
The AEW Women’s Tag Team Champion Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Cross) had a squash match against talent already in the ring as well. This was also pointless, without a promo or storyline emerging at all.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match, FTR Vs. The Conglomeration
Two-thirds of the AEW World Trios Champions, The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong), had a shot at FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), accompanied by Big Stoke, and their AEW World Tag Team Championship. The match was straightforward and basic, but it still included believable false finishes. Stoke ended up being the difference in a close one. FTR was victorious and will defend the titles this Sunday against Cope and Cage in an I Quit match.
