AEW Dynamite on 34th Street
AEW Dynamite this week was a special Dynamite on 34th Street edition, taking place on Christmas Eve. The Continental Class is nearing the end, and the next world title match is clear. These are the results from the December 24, 2025, episode.
AEW Dynamite On 34th St. – Blue League
Konosuke Takeshita versus Orange Cassidy battled in Continental Classic Blue League action. Cassidy hit many slick reversals early, getting most of the pins in the opening minutes. The size and strength advantage was too much for Cassidy’s athleticism to overcome. This punched The Alpha’s ticket to the semi-finals of the tournament.
We had more Blue League action, with Roderick Strong and Mascara Dorada up next. This was a great match for fans of the technical style, while still bringing genuine physicality. Dorada picked up the three points, causing a three-way tie for third in the Blue League.
AEW World Heavyweight Title Picture
MJF had a squash match with the classic “already in the ring.” This was just to set up a promo for the upcoming four-way match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at World’s End. Samoa Joe will defend his title against MJF, Swerve Strickland, and Adam Page.
AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring
The next match was for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. It was AEW National Champion Ricochet versus ROH World Champion Bandido. It had a quick pace and smooth reversals. Bandido overcame all of the outside interference to win the match and the ring.
Wrapping Up AEW Dynamite On 34th Street
Marina Shafir versus Mina Shirakawa was the next match. It was a glorified squash match in Shafir’s favor.
The main event featured Pac versus Jack Perry in Continental Classic Gold League action. Pac is clearly better in every aspect of wrestling, but AEW felt the need to put over Perry in this spot. They’ve been putting in plenty of tv time to try and revive his babyface image.
