The Furman Paladins Women’s Basketball team (6-3) was able to get 2 out of 3 wins in the Holiday Tournament in Atlanta being played at Georgia State University this week. After a first game loss against Campbell Tuesday 82-72, they bounced back Wednesday for a 85-74 win over host Georgia St. then finished it off on Thanksgiving with a overtime win over Purdue Fort Wayne 88-84.

Thursday action versus Purdue Fort Wayne, 4 Paladins scored in double figures (Henley 22, Walters 18, Ryan 18 Reb 10, Johnson 15 Reb 20) to lead the Paladins in the win. In the Wednesday win over Georgia St. Sydney Ryans 24 points and 12 rebounds helped lead the Paladins to a victory. Tuesday action in a loss Tate Walters led with 14 points, but Furman turnovers would end up being their downfall.
