WWE Raw opened this week with The Judgment Day in the ring for a promo talking about the beating they gave to Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley last week, explaining that they are the ones who betrayed them and they got what they deserved. The Judgment Day would be interrupted by LWO. Rey Mysterio would tell Dominik that somebody needs to put him in his place. JD McDonagh would start the brawl, but LWO would be on top going into the first commercial break.

After the break, the two factions would have an 8-man tag match. The match had good back-and-forth action with multiple great high spots. Rey Mysterio would go for a splash on Dominik for the finish, only for Liv Morgan to pull him out of harm’s way. Dominik would take advantage and secure the pinfall. After the match, The Judgment Day would continue the beatdown of LWO, ending with Dominik set up to splash from the ring to the announce table. He would not get to hit the move, however, as The Terror Twins would storm the ring and take out all of The Judgment Day.

Damage CTRL would face Pure Fusion Collective in a tag team match next. During the match, Zelina Vega would attack Sonya Deville outside the ring, distracting PFC and costing them the match.

For the next segment, we would see Drew McIntyre come to the ring to discuss CM Punk. He wouldn’t have to wait long to hear Punk’s music hit. Punk would sneak in from behind, and the two would go at it. Punk would get the better of McIntyre, repeatedly hitting him with the strap that will be used for their upcoming strap match at Bash in Berlin.

The next match was a triple threat match in a tournament to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. This round one match would feature Jey Uso, Karrion Kross, and Kofi Kingston. This was an average match that saw Jey Uso hit a splash on Karrion Kross while Kofi was unresponsive to secure the pinfall.

Randy Orton would come to the ring for a promo in advance of his upcoming title match against Gunther at Bash in Berlin. Orton would be very thankful for the crowd’s support, really leaning into being a babyface. The promo itself didn’t have much substance, but he made it known that he will win the championship with an RKO.

The next match would be Braun Strowman versus Bronson Reed in a battle of the giants. They would actually pull off some rather athletic moves, including a dive to the outside from Bronson Reed to take the show into commercial break. After the break, the match would make its way to the top of the entrance ramp and then backstage. Bronson Reed would ambush Braun with a garbage can before officials would try to separate the two. Of course, nobody could come between them, and they would brawl into the parking lot where Braun Strowman would chokeslam Bronson Reed onto the hood of a car. Reed would somehow fight back, using what appeared to be a steel pipe, and lay Braun out on top of a car. Bronson would then climb to a cliff/curb above the parking lot and hit an enormous splash from well above the car. This had very old-school vibes and was pretty vicious as well.

The next match was another triple threat in the Intercontinental Championship #1 contender’s tournament. This one featured Pete Dunne, The Miz, and Xavier Woods. This triple threat had a better pace and flow to it, with all three looking great and incorporating all three men into most of the match simultaneously. Xavier Woods appeared to have the match won with the referee counting his pin on The Miz, but Pete Dunne pulled the referee out of the ring during his count. He took advantage and won the match.

Chad Gable would take on Uncle Howdy in Howdy’s in-ring debut. Gable would fight through his fear and even gain control of Uncle Howdy, including hitting an Angle Slam on the announce table. Uncle Howdy would take quite a bit of damage before calling on the antics of Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper to make a comeback. Howdy would have Gable set up for Sister Abigail before Ivy Nile would distract the referee to aid Gable. The referee would get knocked out before the rest of American Made jumped Howdy. Howdy would laugh throughout before the rest of the Wyatt Sicks came to his aid. Howdy and Gable would make their way back to the ring, and the referee would come to, just in time to count the pinfall for Uncle Howdy after hitting Sister Abigail.
