These are the ROH results from this week’s show.
ROH Pure Women’s Championship
Billie Starks had an opportunity at Deonna Purrazzo and her ROH Women’s Pure Championship. The match lasted just under eight minutes, and neither one broke a sweat. This match lacked the wrestling fans expect from a Pure Championship match. The champion retained via verbal tapout.
Mark Davis Vs. Angelico – ROH Results
“Dunkzilla” Mark Davis versus Angelico was next. Angelico is one of the most underrated talents in wrestling, and it was clear he was never given an opportunity to shine in this match either in what was a glorified squash match.
Dark Order Vs. Alec Price & Jordan Oliver – ROH Results
Dark Order (Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds) versus Alec Price and Jordan Oliver. Price and Oliver are some of the most promising talents to emerge from the indie circuit in a while. This match picked up the action for the show. The best pace, reversals, and false finishes of the night. It was nice to see the young men get a win over established names.
Robyn Renegade Vs. Rachael Ellering – ROH Results
Robyn Renegade and Rachael Ellering faced off in the next match. Ellering schooled her opponent in the chain wrestling and strength, and it was refreshing to see a woman wrestler not feel the need to hike their trunks up their crack. Renegade picked up the pin after a terribly executed moonsault.
Squash Farm
The already in the ring Logan Cruz had the giant task of wrestling Big Bill. This ended the same way all matches involving somebody without an introduction – boring squash.
Christyan XO and Trish Adora of Shane Taylor Promotions took on a team that didn’t even get a graphic with names on it, nevermind an introduction. This was more filler.
Isla Dawn and the Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) teamed up for an intergender trios match against another team already in the ring. Three matches in a row is a poor look for ROH.
Diamante was next up in the already in the ring gauntlet. This episode started to feel pointless.
The Supastarz Vs. Lethal Twist – ROH Results
The Supastarz and Lethal Twist faced off in trios action. Blake Christian and Lee Johnson shone in this match, executing exciting tandem moves. Johnson picked up the pin for his team, before a brawl erupted with Bandito and others.
ROH World Television Championship
Komander challenged “The Prodigy” Nick Wayne for the ROH World Television Championship in the main event. Wayne seems to be using a more mat-based approach since his injury. Mother Wayne ran the distraction to help her son retain.
