WWE Raw after SummerSlam opened with Ludwig Kaiser in the ring to introduce the new World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther. The crowd seemed very divided in their reaction. Gunther proclaimed the new era of greatness that the World Heavyweight Championship has long deserved. His speech was interrupted by a surprise appearance from Randy Orton. Randy mentioned that he earned the title shot when he defeated Gunther in a match where his shoulders were not actually down. Randy Orton will challenge Gunther for the title at Bash in Berlin.

Next, we would see Ludwig Kaiser take on Sheamus. Ludwig met Sheamus on the entrance ramp, and the fight started on the outside before the match officially began. They made their way into the ring to get it started, and both men led with heavy strikes. They went back-and-forth, leaving each other red and bruised. Pete Dunne tried to attack Sheamus, who dodged him and kicked him out with a big knee. Sheamus went on to win this entertaining and physical match after hitting the Brogue Kick.
Not this time!@WWESheamus was one step ahead of @PeteDunneYxB and his games 😤#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/c7K6BFF7vh

Damian Priest would come to the ring and voice his frustration with Finn Bálor costing him the championship at SummerSlam. Finn would appear on the Jumbotron to say he has changed since getting the championship, which changed the group dynamics. It went from having no leaders to serving Damian Priest. He would say he and the group will be coming for him. It would then zoom out to show The Judgment Day with Liv Morgan.
"When you are suffering, know I am the reason for your pain."@ArcherOfInfamy isn't messing around tonight, he wants a fight with @FinnBalor! 😤#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/NPviojv90R

Lyra Valkyria would take on Shayna Baszler in the next match. It would appear Lyra had the match won when Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville stormed the ring, and the referee threw out the match. Damage CTRL would then rush the ring, resulting in a 3-on-3 brawl to end the segment.
It's going down!
Here comes #DamageCTRL!!!#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/8MKMFDz16d

CM Punk would come to the ring for a promo. He would claim to be happy despite losing to Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. He is excited to be back healthy and is already thinking about WrestleMania. He would try to call out Drew for a rematch but was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who is upset about the GTS he received from Punk while acting as the special guest referee. The two would square off when Drew McIntyre would choose to interrupt at this point. Drew would claim to now be the best in the world and show off Punk’s bracelet that he still has. Punk would chase after Drew, which led to Seth Rollins getting blindsided by Bron Reed. Reed was relentless, hitting multiple Tsunamis, forcing medical personnel to aid Seth Rollins as he coughed up blood.
MESSAGE. SENT. @BRONSONISHERE just absolutely DESTROYED @WWERollins 😱#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/W9hvDYCfY1

The Authors of Pain would take on the New Day in a tag team match. It was a good match with some nice back-and-forth action. It appeared Final Testament was going to use the numbers advantage until Odyssey Jones from NXT made his debut to aid the New Day.
IT'S ODYSSEY JONES!!!
The big man just single-handedly took out The Final Testament to help The New Day! 🤯#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/e09JwTLFBj

A-Town Down Under would take on The Awesome Truth in another tag team match. This match was not necessarily bad, but it did seem to lack intensity and/or crispness. There would be a miscommunication between The Awesome Truth that would cost them the match.

JD McDonagh would take on Damian Priest in the evolving Judgment Day storyline. JD would give it his best and start out quickly, but was quickly met with multiple power moves from Priest. JD would manage to come back with some strikes of his own, and the match turned very stiff. It may have been a work, but Priest seemed more aggressive that night. Finn Bálor would jump him when it was clear he had the upper hand in the match. Everyone in the “New” Judgment Day would lay a beatdown on Priest. Rhea Ripley would come to his aid, and everyone scattered. Rhea would manage to get her hands on Liv and set her up for a powerbomb through the announce table, only to be saved by Dominik. JD would be left alone in the ring to receive a chokeslam from Priest. Priest and Ripley would be on top at the end of the segment.

Sonya Deville would take on Iyo Sky, who was replacing Dakota Kai (who was injured by Sonya and her friends backstage earlier). This match had a few choppy/awkward moments, but Damage CTRL may have had the high-spot of the night from the top rope to the outside. This would lead to Iyo Sky securing a pinfall victory.
.@Iyo_SkyWWE is NOT happy and she's coming for @SonyaDevilleWWE! 👊#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/i86AaW5Dzw

The main event would be Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers taking on the in-ring debut of the Wyatt Six. The Wyatt Six were largely dominant early, outside a couple of brief moments. The Creeds and Gable would make a good fight of it after the commercial, but the Wyatt Six would prove to be too dominant.
American Made is learning what it's like to mess with The Wyatt Sicks! 😳#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/zTklR6Ugjh
