Quote from Coach Averill
“It was a fantastic game. I couldn’t be prouder of the squad. I thought Cal came out unbelievably explosive. They’re a solid team and we held our own in the first half. We weathered a lot of DPCs which I am proud of our unit. Really tried to make some adjustments in the third quarter and then reiterated what we needed to do in the fourth quarter. The momentum just shifted towards us and I am really super proud of the women for creating as many opportunities as they did in that fourth quarter and finishing the game off in a fantastic way.”
