These AEW Dynamite results are from The Pinnacle in Nashville this week, and were the final episode before Redemption this Sunday.
Darby Allin Vs. Kevin Knight – TNT Championship Match
The opening match was for the TNT Championship, when Darby Allin challenged “The Jet” Kevin Knight. Allin dove through the ropes during Knight’s entrance, and the brawl spilled into the crowd. The Jet took some wild bumps as the referee tried getting them back to the ring to begin the match.
The bell rang, and Knight raked the eyes to gain the advantage. Allin then took his turn taking some big-league bumps, which ultimately left color running down his face. Both guys worked stiff, in a natural back-and-forth flow. The segments also told enough of a story for multiple false finishes that were both tense and believable.
Allin accidentally took out the referee, and Knight grabbed the championship belt to use as a weapon. This plan, however, backfired, as it was reversed into a Scorpion Deathdrop.
Allin rushed to the top rope for his finisher, but Knight recovered enough to tie him up in the tree of woe and go coast-to-coast. He’d grab the ref, hit his finisher, and the brawl was over. It was a fantastic match, and it was also well produced to ensure neither guy lost much shine in terms of the booking.
The Don Callis Family
Rennee Pequette was then joined by the rest of The Don Callis Family in the ring. They’d go around the circle, promoting their upcoming Redemption matches. It eventually led to the next match: Brodido (ROH World Champion Bandido and Brody King) vs. Protokada (AEW International Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and “The Rainmaker” Kazuchicka Okada).

The match had a natural build, with high-end reversals and intensity. Fletcher was a victim of friendly fire, leading to Bandido picking up the pinfall victory for his team. The two involved in the finish meet this Sunday at Redemption.
Thekla & Willow Nightingale
Mick Foley oversaw a face-to-face between AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla and her challenger at Redemption, Willow Nightingale. The ultimate babyface, Knightingale, was clearly enjoying slinging insults, even if the segment went on a little too long.
Jay White Vs. Clark Connors – AEW Dynamite Results
“Switchblade” Jey White vs. Clark Connors was next. This was a personal grudge match, so few finishes were attempted, as they took turns beating on each other. White ultimately choked Connors out cold, but David Finlay blindsided him after the match. The Bang Bang Gang rushed to aid, as the segment finished.
Sisters Of Sin Vs. Divine Dominion – AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
The Sisters of Sin (Sky Blue and Julia Hart) challenged Divine Diminion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) for their AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship in a no disqualification match. Blue and Sky rushed the larger opponents with kendo sticks to gain early control. Sadly, everything was soft from there, and trying to convince fans to believe a blow-for-blow with such a size difference was a rough watch. It ultimately paid off, as Bayne pinned Hart for this finish.
Omega, Moxley, & Ospreay Vs. The Don Callis Family
The main event was AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley vs. The Don Callis Family (CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Hechicero, Brian Cage, and Jake Doyle) in a trios match. It was a physical affair, but the outcome was never in doubt, with only one side having an upcoming PPV match. Omega picked up the win for his team.
