AEW Dynasty results April 12, 2026.
The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson) v The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita) – Tag team match
This match was much slower than expected, but still had plenty of wild reversals and tandem moves. Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita had seemingly squashed their beef heading into the match, but Takeshita willingly let The Young Bucks hit their finisher.
Chris Jericho v Ricochet – Singles match AEW Dynasty Results
Being introduced as simple “Jericho” now, this crowd gave him a much warmer welcome than his initial return on Dynamite. The match was also more physical than expected. The one negative is the simple match-storytelling the Gates of Agony helping Ricochet, but Jericho finding a way.
The true shock was the finish. Ricochet pinned Jericho on his first PPV match since his return, and he did it after hitting a Lionsault, one of his opponent’s signature moves.
Andrade El Ídolo v Darby Allin – Singles match: If Allin wins, he will receive a future AEW World Championship match
Darby Allin was on a mission of pain early. Some of his spots included a Coffin Drop from the top rope to the floor, a drop kick on cement stairs, and overjumping a suicide dive, which slammed his own body flush against the announce desk. It was a great back-and-forth, but there had to be a better way for Andrade to lose than a clean roll up, albeit a unique one. It was nice to see him raise Allin’s hand post-match, which felt like a shoot sign of respect.
FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) (c) v Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage) – Tag team match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship
There were a few moments where you’d notice FTR half a step ahead of their challengers, but otherwise, they certainly made the best of it. Exciting reversals and false finishes from both sides.
Edge took a razor shot to add color to the match, and even from there, the false finishes still happened both ways. FTR was ultimately too strong for Cope and Cage, retaining the titles in a match that perhaps Christian could have added more to.
Tommaso Ciampa v Rush v All TBA – Casino Gauntlet match for the vacant AEW TNT Championship AEW Dynasty Results
“Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa and Rush match, and the remaining random talent would enter at random intervals. The first pinfall of the match wins the entire thing, and in this case, the vacant TNT Championship. The next entrants were Bandido, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, and El Clon. Despite the abundance of smaller high-flyers, the match was impressively physical to that point.
“The Bastard” Pac and Daniel Garcia, fellow Death Riders, were next to enter. “The Pride of Professional Wrestling” Anthony Bowens, “The Jet” Kevin Knight, and Wheeler Yuta were next. Bowens stood out so far, not only for the how unique his power moves were, but also how believable and hard-hitting they were. All men did fantastic work on false finishes without interfering with each other.
The finish happened when Garcia had Bailey in a submission, when Knight flew from the sky to save his usual tag partner from the submission. The huge shock was that was the final move of the evening, making The Jet the new TNT Champion.
Thekla (c) v Jamie Hayter – Singles match for the AEW Women’s World Championship AEW Dynasty Results
There was a moment after Thekla hit a crossbody to the outside on Jamie Hayter, where the mic picked up Hayter saying, “give me a minute.” The match was extremely slow from that point. Even when she had regained some control in the match, she didn’t quite look herself. With leverage from the rope unseen by the referee, the champion retained her title.
Jon Moxley (c) v Will Ospreay – Singles match for the AEW Continental Championship AEW Dynasty Results
Uber-stiff matchup with almost unbelievable reversals. It was a bit too far to have Will Ospreay kick out of having his head slammed onto the steel steps, followed swiftly by back-to-back finishers. Not only that, Ospreay was pinned just moments later.
The Dogs (David Finlay, Clark Conners, Gabe Kidd) (c) v The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly) -AEW World Trios Championship
After winning the titles Saturday night on Collision, this match was added to the card at the last minute. The match review is secondary, because it’s a shame to the lineage of the title to have three champs in two days, but here it was. Post-match was awkward as well, with none of the three looking pleased with the situation. Orange Cassidy, in particular, looked confused.
MJF (c) v Kenny Omega – Singles match for the AEW World Championship AEW Dynasty Results
It was a stiff, back-and-forth affair, but as with all MJF matches, the finish is never clean. The champ pulled the referee into Kenny Omega’s running knee-strike, so, of course, he wasn’t there to count three for the challenger moments later. MJF then won the match with assistance from his ring.
