The Anderson Trojans Men’s soccer team (5-0-2, 2-0-1 SAC) play host to the North Greenville Trailblazers (2-4-1, 2-1-1 CCA) at Spero Financial Stadium in Anderson S.C. The No.9 Anderson University men’s soccer team defeated Carson-Newman (2-2-2, 1-1-1 SAC) by a score of 3-2 on Saturday at Spero Financial Field. Adrian Castillo scored off Luis Munoz’s assist in the 83rd minute to break a 2-2 tie.

The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men’s Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during Week Four of the 2026 season and Anderson’s Luis Munoz was named the Offensive Player of the Week. Munoz, a senior forward from Lecheria, Venezuela, totaled two goals and two assists to lead Anderson through an unbeaten week in SAC play. He scored in a 2-2 draw against Emory & Henry on Sept. 15, then figured in all three goals with a goal and two assists as the Trojans rallied for a 3-2 victory over Carson-Newman on Sept. 19. Munoz finished the week with six points on six shots, including four on goal, in 132 minutes.
