Cope & Cage Vs. Death Riders – AEW World Tag Team Championship Match
AEW Dynamite opened with the AEW Tag Team Champions, Cope and Cage, defending the straps against Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders. The challengers singled out Cope early, cutting the ring in half to hold control. Cage eventually got the hot-tag, and it was pretty straightforward from there.
Cage picked up the win after hitting a spear, but the champs were attacked by The Dogs and Death Riders post-match. After calling them out last week, the Bang Bang Game rushed to even the numbers.
Jake Doyle Vs. Andrade El Idolo – AEW Dynamite Results
Jake Doyle versus Andrade El Idolo, who now has MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring, was next. If Andrade wins this match, he’d get a shot at Mark Davis and his AEW National Championship at Revolution.
Doyle made him earn it, with stiff striking and vicious slams. That said, Andrade pulled out the late comeback to earn that title shot, one week Sunday.
Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, Will Ospreay, Kevin Knight
After winning the AEW World Heavyweight Championship last week on Dynamite, Tony Schiavone called him to the ring for a celebration. The Young Bucks followed them before they could speak to reintroduce the classic belt with black leather. From there, it was largely pandering to the audience before Will Ospreay appeared, who is the next challenger for his new strap.
The ring was left for only Omega and Ospreay. The challenger did some pandering of his own, but to the champ. He acknowledged his greatness and how nice it was to see the belt back on his shoulder.
Just as they were about to shake hands, they were interrupted by TNT Champion Kevin Knight, who still wants the title shot MJF promised him. In short, Omega said Knight doesn’t need Don Callis, and that he’s a fraud. Furthermore, if he wants a title shot, he has to do it without The Don Callis Family.
Knight didn’t like those words, and took a swing at the champ, only to meet the wrath of Darby Allin on the entrance ramp. The Don Callis Family sent out reinforcements, sending the Death Riders to the aid of Omega and friends.
Brodido Vs. Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo – AEW Dynamite Results
Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) versus Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solo was up next. This was a glorified squash match to make Brodido look strong.
Komander Vs. Kyler Fletcher – AEW International Championship Match
Komander challenged Kyle Fletcher for his AEW International Championship. Komander started hot, using his speed and hig- flying to control early. Fletcher fought back with his size and strength, with false finishes both ways. A brain buster was ultimately the difference, leading to the championship retention.
Fletcher tried to rip off his opponent’s luchador mask post-match, but was stopped by Konosuke Takeshita. The brawl was on, and it seemed Takeshita was about to come out on top, that is, until Kazuchicka Okada showed up.
Darby Allin Vs. Brian Cage – AEW Dynamite Results
Allin reappeared for a match of his own, against Brian Cage. He was rushed on the bell, but Cage’s size was far too much for the flurry.

AEW continues to put the small Allin over monsters, as if fans should believe anything. He takes a five-minute beating before a simple reversal, leading to a basic finish each time.
Divine Dominion & Mone Vs. Nightingale, World, & Hyan – AEW Dynamite Results
Divine Dominion teamed with Mercedes Moné to take on Willow Nightingale, Maya World, and Hyan. The Dominion stood out for their strength and athleticism. Moné picked up the pin after a one-finisher to the finish.
