WWE Clash in Italy final card promo
This is the latest WWE Clash in Italy final card, including breakdown and predictions for each.
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu – Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Championship
After losing clean in his first title opportunity against WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The OTC” Roman Reigns, “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu earned another opportunity. All he had to do was refuse to acknowledge Reigns, as he agreed to, and start using the Tongan Death Grip. The match type has been elevated to Tribal Combat, where the winner not only secures the title but also becomes Head of the Table.
It’s still difficult to imagine Reigns dropping the title here. He has The Bloodline on his side, and also one of WWE’s biggest draws ever. It was a strange decision not to protect Fatu in that recent loss. WWE is not going to have The OTC serving under The Samoan Werewolf. Look for him to retain in an extended match, involving numerous false finishes, with and without The Bloodline’s involvement.
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther – Undisputed WWE Championship
Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes seemingly went from everybody’s favorite babyface to the new coming of Hulk Hogan. “The Ring General” Gunther has choked him out on television on multiple occasions, leading up to the event.
The WWE Universe needs a break from Rhodes. Gunther may not be everybody’s favorite to wear it, but it’s the perfect heel to take it and face the next babyface in line. Look for WWE to protect him in the loss with heel antics.
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill – WWE Women’s Championship
This is, by far, the easiest prediction on the card. Jade Cargill just dropped the title to current WWE Champion Rhea Ripley, after a very lackluster run. Cargill’s move set is also limited, so there’s only so much to expect from a match with her involvement. Look for Ripley to retain, in the lull of the night.
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca – Women’s Intercontinental Championship
WWE deserves heavy criticism for its booking of Sol Ruca. Not only did she lose her first four matches on the main roster, but her only other match was a win by disqualification against WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch, setting up this match.
Without a pinfall or submission in her first five matches on Raw, there’s no way they’ll bury their new talent even further. Defeating a brand-name star like Lynch for the IC title may just be enough to elevate her out of this hole.
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar – WWE Clash In Italy Final Card
“The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar fooled the WWE Universe when he appeared to retire after a WrestleMania loss to “The Ruler” Oba Femi this year. After a surprise return, in which Lesnar jumped Femi from behind, this match for Clash in Italy was made.
The match at WrestleMania was a squash-type loss for Lesnar. Having him make a surprise return, only to lose again, wouldn’t be the smartest decision. The Beast Incarnate may take this one, setting up a trilogy match.
WWE Clash in Italy Final Card, In Conclusion
That wraps up the Clash in Italy final card and predictions. Here’s to hoping the world title picture gets an interesting twist, and that the women’s world title match isn’t just a few feats of strength.
