Ted Turner News
Tony Schivone and Sting opened the show in memory of Ted Turner, who sadly passed away the morning before this show. They shared personal stories and gave him credit for everything he’s done for the business.
Juice Robinson Vs. Jon Moxley – AEW Dynamite Results
The opening match of these AEW Dynamite results was an AEW Continental Championship eliminator match, in which if Juice Robinson could win a non-title match over the current champ, Jon Moxley, he’d be awarded a title shot. These boys were laying the strikes in deep – an entertaining, physical affair. He refused to tap, but Robinson was ultimately put to sleep in the middle of the ring.
Dax Harwood Vs. Orange Cassidy – AEW Dynamite Results
One-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Dax Harwood, had a singles match against one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions, “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy. Both sides had quite the army join them ringside, in effect creating a lumberjack match. Cassidy took a beating early, both in and out of the ring. His body was red and marked up, taking vicious bumps.
Cassidy eventually kicked into babyface comeback mode, eventually reversing into a pinfall for the victory. The instant the bell rang, all the stars ringside started brawling.
Stadium Stampede?
Jericho’s in-ring promo was quickly interrupted by The Demand (Ricochet and Gates of Agony). Ricochet challenged him to a Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. The offer was accepted, but complete teams remain a mystery. The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) saved him from further damage at the hands of The Demand.
AEW International Championship Match – Kazuchika Okada Vs. Bryan Keith
AEW International Champion, “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada, accompanied by Don Callis and “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer, had a title defense against “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith. The challenger did well to hang in with the stiff striking, even planting his own potatoes, but the champ was just too big and strong. After his victory, Okada announced his intention also to hold the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
Shirakawa & Cameron Vs. Shida & Statlander – AEW Dynamite Results
Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron teamed up against Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander in tag action. As far as Cameron has come, she still looks like an actress portraying a wrestler out there. Shida and Statlander picked up the win.

AEW World Heavyweight Championship Match – Darby Allin Vs. Kevin Knight
Darby Allin continued his weekly defenses of the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. This week, it was time for AEW TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight to get a shot. Allin is taking crazy bumps week after week, and this was no different. Not only does he have impressive high spots, but he also pulls off dangerous moves at full speed. Knight also went above his usual great danger level. The champ retained in a brutal fight.
