WWE World Tag Team Champions The Vision & iShowSpeed Vs. The Usos & LA Knight
WrestleMania 42 kicked off with a six-man tag match. Could the celebrity integration make up for the fact that the WWE World Tag Team Champions are being wasted in a non-title match at Mania?
This match was relatively short and unimpressive. LA Knight pinned iShowSpeed, which infuriated Logan Paul, who knocked him out post-match. Paul then laid out speed on the announce desk, before climbing to the top rope.
The Usos and Knight saved the day. They took Paul off the top rope and Speed off the table, before reversing their positions.
Speed hit a massive frog splash from atop the ring post, onto Paul, and through the announce desk. The spot was undeniably entertaining, but why couldn’t they put such a spot in the match itself?
The Vision & iShowSpeed Vs. The Usos & LA Knight
The opening match of WrestleMania 42 was mailed-in, with a failed attempt to save it. Having a celebrity hit a splash post-match does not require wasting a Mania spot with a snooze fest.
