These AEW Collision results come fresh out of Arlington. They went trio-heavy in this episode. The TNT Championship was also on the line.
AEW Collision Results – Deathriders Vs. SkyFlight
Collision opened this week by going straight into this trio’s match. The Deathriders took on Top Flight and Scorpio Sky (SkyFlight). Deathriders were in control early on, utilizing classic heel tactics such as distracting the referee.
There was a brief hot-tag in for Sky, but the Deathriders shut it down quickly with their tandem moves and synchronicity. Pac submitted Scorpio for the finish.
AEW Collision Results – 1-On-1 Matches
Brody King had an “already in the ring” match, where the challenger tried to dive over the top during his entrance. King caught him and murdered him within seconds. Hopefully, they can start giving Brody real work on Collision.
El Clon and Komander faced off in a promising lucha-matchup. They did not disappoint. The pace, reversals, and movesets were all of note. More unexpectedly, numerous power moves led to tense false finishes. El Clon ultimately pulled out the victory, continuing his hot start in AEW.
Mina Shirakawa also had a match with somebody already in the ring, although it felt more disrespectful to someone of the heights of Lady Frost. Despite jumping Shirakawa to start the match, it turned into a squash match within a couple of minutes.
TNT Championship Match
The TNT Championship was on the line next, when Mark Briscoe defended it against Hechicero. It was an entertaining and stiff matchup that also had a couple of entertaining high spots – Briscoe retained.
More Trios Action
Vertvixen, Maya World, and Hyan teamed up for trios action to take on the Babes of Wrath and Kris Statlander. It was full of gimmick spots to get the babyface champions some tv time. A glorified squash match. Triangle of Madness came out to set up a promo for their match next week.
JetSpeed teamed with Anthony Bowens to take on The Demand in more trios action. The Gates of Agony and Ricochet have really been working on their two and three person tandum moves. It’s impressive the sequences they come up with, but even more so how they work in such power moves. The finish saw Bowens miss a blind tag to end up taking the pin.
The Demand jumped their opponents after the match, which sent Max Caster to the ring. Things continued to unravel until The Don Callis Family and The Conglomeration all joined the fun as the show came to an end.
