All this weekend the Furman tennis facility has had a huge group of some of the best tennis players in the country. The Donna Southern Furman Fall Classic is known to have the best of the best playing in a unique type of tournament. A field of over 12 teams made their way playing at both Furman and Clemson due to the weather Friday but was able to get in the rest at Furman on Saturday and Sunday.
We were able to get several player and Coaches interviews and wanted to make sure the ladies get their time to shine. Women’s tennis has really grown over the years, and so many of the greats today have played at this classic.
This tournament will be one to be at each and every year as women’s tennis will start having more of this all across the country and allows the coaches to see what they have before spring conference play.
