With the victory, Wake Forest (30-3) captured its fourth ACC title in program history, all coming under the direction of head coach Tony Bresky, and reached the 30-win mark for the third consecutive season. The milestone further cements the current era as one of the most successful and sustained runs in program history.

Just eight days removed from clinching the ACC regular season crown, the Deacs completed the ACC double for the third time in program history (2018, 2019), reaffirming their dominance across the entire season. The title also marked the 13th trophy secured under Bresky’s reign.

From Coach Bresky

“It was a great match. I thought Virginia played very well. It was really high quality tennis throughout the match. We did a really good job in doubles to get up. We knew we needed to come out and be ready to compete, because they would, and we matched that. We played some really good tennis overall this weekend. Winning an ACC title is incredibly hard and we’re super proud of that accomplishment and to represent the conference as the champions.” – Head coach Tony Bresky
