Greenville Liberty to Face the Charlotte Independence

The Liberty coming off a 5-1 loss to the NC Courage last week on Friday, get a quick turnaround to face the Charlotte Independence at Paladin Stadium in Greenville, S.C. The last game the Liberty was in the game until right after halftime that’s when the wheels fell off and the Courage was able to score 4 unanswered goals 3 in the final minutes of the game. In both games the Liberty scored first and looked to be in control of the match, tonight they look to change the narrative and get in the win column. (Game Thread)

The Independence hit the score board first with a goal at the 10th minute and its 1-0 early here at Paladin stadium. The Liberty are being physically beaten around by the Independence as many fans are yelling for cards based on the play so far.

The Independence get on the board again in the 27th minute and its now 2-0 over the Liberty. The score stays 2-0 heading into halftime as both team’s battle to the end with a minute stoppage.
