The College Football Playoff starts with one game Friday night then shifts to 3 games on Saturday as the entire sports world will be watching to see who comes out on top and heads to round two. I on the other hand will be looking to see just how wrong the playoff committee got this year wrong so let’s dive into each game here on Round 1:

Friday 12/19 #9 Alabama vs. #8 Oklahoma
This rematch of SEC foes who already faced once this year recently will have the Sooners with some home cooking welcoming the team most fans say bought their way into the playoff in the Tide. The Sooners won 23-21 back on 11/15 and boast a 4-game winning streak last losing on 10/25 versus Ole Miss another playoff team. This game in my eyes will be over by halftime, and the Sooners will be the ones giving Bama yet another loss from them this year.
Prediction 31-13 Sooners

Saturday 12/20
Game 1 #10 Miami vs. #7 Texas A&M
The Hurricanes yet another team that was slide into the CFP thanks to misfortunes of several teams, heads to College Station to face the Aggies in a noon showdown that will sure to be a barn burner. Texas A&M hopes to have its offense in Reed & Owens going full blast at a fast Miami defense who will have to stay in its gaps to keep A&M honest. Hurricanes will need All Star WR Toney going wild deep in Aggies side of the field. This game will be much closer and will be the game of the weekend.
Prediction 28-24 Hurricanes

Game 2 #11 Tulane vs. #6 Ole Miss,
This game if Lane Kiffin had stayed would be a no brainer for the Rebels of Ole Miss., yet Lane is gone, so is some players and coaches, and the matchup now has a feeling of unpredictable matchups. I will call this my first upset as Tulane has more to gain than lose here, and Ole Miss just has way too many question marks for a playoff team.
Prediction 24-21 Green Wave

Game 3 #12 JMU vs. #5 Oregon
This game will be a blow out as Oregon will let JMU have a early feeling of belonging, then will let the last three quarters be the answer we all knew…They Belong!
Prediction 41-10 Ducks
12 teams. 1 champion.
