Furman (6-5, 4-4 SoCon) will be led by SoCon Leader in sacks DT Joshua Stoneking and also QB Trey Hedden who has over 2700 yards passing with 16 TDs and 12 Int.

Clemson starts with the ball and goes down and scores on a field goal and its 3-0 with 12:17 left in the first quarter and Furman will begin from the 25-yard line. Furman just wants to pick up positive yards and let its defense rest some as it looks to be a very long day in Death Valley. Clemson is able to get the stop, and Furman has to kick back to Clemson, and #0 Antonio Williams runs back into Furman side of the field. Clemson starts marching right down the field with several pass plays and is now at the Furman 14-yard line. The pass is called incomplete after review and its 4th down and Clemson will go for it and completes to the TE Olson Patt Henry and Clemson is at the 26-yard line.

Antonio Williams gets the pass from #2 Cade Klubnik and Clemson gets a huge score to go up 10-0 over Furman with a 41-yard drive for the touchdown. Furman is quickly getting behind the and will need to score on this drive to get its energy back quick. Clemson is looking to make a statement early that the disappointment this year will not define them at the end of the season.

After a fumble recovery, Furman is still unable to get a first done and kick away to Clemson who takes over at the 20-yard line. Clemson takes the ball 80 yards thanks to huge running play and several pass plays and scores a touchdown and its 17-0 in the first quarter 4:43 left till the second quarter. Furman takes the kickoff and will take over at the 25-yard line. Furman finally gets its first down of the game and is at the 47-yard line. The Paladins get a pass interference call, and they move to the 38 of Clemson. They are stopped and Ian Williams who is normally right on misses a huge field goal and Clemson takes over at the 36-yard line.

Furman is able to get its first stop of the Tigers after Joshua Stoneking gets Klubnik to commit a penalty and Furman takes over at the 39-yard line and looks to get its first score of the game. The first Quarter is over with Clemson in a commanding position winning 17-0 heading into the 2nd quarter.

Clemson takes the ball down gets another quick score as its 24-0 Clemson in a huge way 46 yards and a touchdown over Furman the SoCon team. Cade and Antonio have been burning the Furman the Paladins defenders so far in this game. Furman after getting a huge first down has a fumble as CJ Parker gets Trey Hedden in the backfield and Clemson takes over in the Paladins side of the field. Cade is taken out with a standing ovation, and #17 Christopher Vizzina comes in and leads the Tigers down to the red zone but is unable to score on loss of downs. Furman now takes the ball after a great defensive stop and is moving the ball up out of the red zone and faces 3rd and ten with 8:37 left in the game. trey Hedden throws a interception as Sammy Brown returns it to the 22-yard line of Furman. Trey is not looking sharp at this moment, hopefully he can get back to form soon for the young Paladins team. Clemson gets the score and is up 31-0 over Furman now with just over 6 minutes left in the game.

Furman gets the ball and is unable to get a first down once again and kicks away to Clemson who takes over at the 50-yard line. Furman is able to hold the Tigers and Clemson misses a field goal and the Paladins will now take over at the 20-yard line. Hedden hits Burrell for a 20-yard pass play. We now come to the two-minute warning here in the 2nd Quarter. Furman is able to get a drive and finally score right here before halftime and its 31-3. This game would stall for a bit before Furman would get a touchdown and move the ball decent before Clemson would end the game with two touchdowns behind Chris Benson the 4 QB brought in the game.
