 
                  Building on the previously announced 2027 Wake Forest football matchup with Notre Dame inside Bank of American Stadium, Wake Forest Athletics continues to strengthen its regional ties to Charlotte as the Demon Deacons baseball program will head to the Queen City to take on Clemson in a showdown at Truist Field on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Tickets for the April 1 game will go on sale in January 2026 through the Charlotte Knights box office and http://CharlotteKnights.com. Additionally, first pitch time, broadcast details, fan promotions and additional game information will be announced at a later date.

The matchup between two of the ACC’s premier programs will showcase top-tier college baseball at one of the nation’s most scenic professional venues. Truist Field, home of the Triple-A Charlotte Knights, has become a regular stage for major collegiate events, including the ACC Baseball Championship.

Coming off another strong season, the Demon Deacons will look to make a statement against a familiar rival in a matchup that has consistently featured some of the best talent in college baseball. Although the contest will not count toward ACC standings, the environment and level of competition will mirror that of a postseason setting.
