The ACC heads into this week’s football weekend with 4 teams unbeaten in conference play and 2 unbeaten overall. The Miami Hurricanes (8-0, 4-0 ACC) and Pitt Panthers (7-0, 3-0 ACC) are looking great so far this year and still have huge test left to show they are the cream of the crop in the conference. Clemson Tigers (6-1, 5-0 ACC) and SMU Mustangs (7-1, 4-0 ACC) still have chances of representing the conference and making a way to the CFP.

This week’s matchups will show us where the top teams stand as they enter the home stretch with just a few more weeks left in this season before we crown the ACC Champion and look to see if the ACC can get more than one bid into the playoffs of college football. The ACC actually if things fall right could actually have 3 teams eligible for the playoffs though getting the actual nod would be very unrealistic.
