Florida St. (1-6) had no luck against the Duke (6-1) team on Friday and loss 23-16 after a interception for a touchdown and 3 field goals did them in. Florida St, scored first on a field goal by Ryan Fitzgerald, then Duke took off from there scoring 17 unanswered points and end the game with two field goals to get the ACC win over the Noles.

Dukes defense combined for 6 sacks, 11 TFL, and four turnovers on the Noles who had 291 yards versus Duke in the game. Duke won the possession of the game 30 minutes to FSU 29 minutes. FSU QB Brock Glenn was 9/19 110 yards and 2 INT, while Duke QB Maalik Murphy was 12/24 for 70 yards in the game. Both teams seem to struggle offensively, yet Duke was able to win with its defense on the pick six and is now Bowl eligible. Duke now will now have SMU coming into its house on 10/26, while FSU will play at Miami on 10/26.
