The Anderson Cavaliers (2-0) Football team came into tonight’s game with allot of emotion and it showed up on the field versus the Greenville Hurricanes (0-1). Both teams played and gave a defensive battle for the huge crowd in attendance. The bad part of the game was the number of flags thrown on both teams in the game.

The winning touchdown came in the second quarter right before halftime, and neither team seen the endzone afterwards. Last Week’s MVP #1 QB/CB Tez played another great performance as did the bulk of the defensive team. The only big issue in the game came on a interception by the Cavaliers that was being returned and ended in front of the Hurricanes bench, during which a may lay started and some of the benches cleared and Anderson was somehow given 3-person foul penalties which back the ball up all the way to the 2-yard line. Lucky nobody was hurt in the altercation, but it did get crazy for a moment. Coach Norris has got his guys now undefeated going to Orangeburg next Friday night.
