Raw opened this week with Jey Uso in the ring on a microphone. He was not alone for long as Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso would make their way to the ring through the crowd. Jimmy and Jey would make their way to a dramatic face-to-face. Jey would be the first to speak, saying even after everything that has happened, he misses his brother. Jimmy would call him dumb for leaving The Bloodline. The promo would end in a brawl where Jey tried to get the jump on Jimmy, but Solo was quick to help, and it wasn’t long before they had Jey on the ground. Cody Rhodes would make his quick appearance to avoid any further damage to Jey and to ensure the segment. For those that don’t know, it will be Jimmy vs Jey Uso, at WrestleMania.

Next up was a WrestleMania Tag Team Championship Ladder Match spot. DIY would take on The Creed Brothers. The two would show why they are great long-term tag-teams, with great tandem offense. The match also featured some great streaking where it was really layed in stiff. It appeared the up-and-coming Creed Brothers were about to win via ankle lock. DIY would reverse into their own submission, only for the Creed Brothers to show you just how strong they are, reversing into slams. It appeared once again The Creed Brothers would have the pin off a moonsault, but DIY would kickout. The ending, even after all that, was very fast paced and believable close falls. DIY would ultimately get the pinfall and book their ticket to WrestleMania.

Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell would take on Kayden Carter and Katana Chance in a tag-team match. Candice LeRae would secure the victory, via tap-out. There would be some foreshadowing as it seemed Indi didn’t like how far Candice went to win the match, and along with her comments about her opponent’s late brother last week, there appears to be a split appearing between Candice and Indi.

Cody Rhodes would be on the mic in the next segment, with a promo aimed at The Rock, who, if you missed it, took plenty of digs at Cody on Smackdown. Cody brought more anger to this promo than usual, using multiple terms to describe The Rock that I wouldn’t use without checking with Greenville Sports Media. Paul Heyman would interrupt the segment with a message from Roman Reigns. Paul would assure Cody that if he shows up to Smackdown this Friday, Roman would show up to Smackdown with only Paul Heyman and no other members of The Bloodline if Cody also shows up alone. The two would shake hands on it.

Ricochet would try to defeat “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio who was accompanied by JD McDonagh. Ricochet would show off his usual but incredible athleticism and move set to secure the victory.

Sami Zayn would try to talk to Chad Gable backstage in the next segment. Gable would clearly still be upset about losing the match last week and would end the segment by telling Sami that he cannot beat Gunther.

The next segment was the contract signing between Sami Zayn and Gunther for their WWE International Championship match at WrestleMania. The segment felt rather lackluster. Gunther saying Sami’s dream would meet his reality, and Sami having Gunther look in eyes to tell him he will be the one to take him down at WrestleMania.

Awesome Truth would take on Indus Sher for another spot in the ladder match at WrestleMania for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Indus Sher would show their brute strength early, but it would not be enough. The finish seemed a little sloppy. They attempted to have R-Truth get knocked out and land on top to get the pinfall victory. I never blame anyone for trying a unique finish, but the fact is that in this case, it was a little slow, choppy, and awkward. Awesome Truth books their ticket to WrestleMania.

Drew McIntyre would make his way to the ring, but he was interrupted by Seth Rollins before he even made it down the entrance ramp. Seth would even pass Drew and make it in the ring first. The two would exchange words in hype of their upcoming match at WrestleMania. Seth would get the last word, telling Drew he’s not as good as he thinks he is.

Another shot in the WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at WrestleMania was on the line, when New Day would take on Alpha Academy. The two teams would have a fast-paced back-and-forth match. The veteran team, New Day, would pull out the win and book their ticket to WrestleMania.

Becky Lynch and Nia Jax would have a Last Woman Standing match. Spots of note include Jax dropping Lynch on a pile of chairs via Samoan Drop, Lynch hitting Jax repeatedly with a kendo stick, and Becky would get a second Samoan Drop, this time through a table. Lynch would fight back, putting Nia Jax through a table on the floor, from the apron, via her Manhandle Slam. Becky Lynch would then climb to the top of an enormous ladder to deliver a leg drop onto Nia Jax and through the announce table. This would prove to be the final blow, as Nia Jax could not answer the 10-count. Rhea Riple would make her appearance when the match finished. If you missed it, it will be Becky Lynch challenging Rhea for her title at WrestleMania. Ripley would go face-to-face with Becky as Raw went off the air.
