Larson’s No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet slowed on Lap 13 of the scheduled 200 laps in Sunday’s Pala Casino 400 for the NASCAR Cup Series. He brought the car to pit road, where his crew raised the hood to assess the issue. They eventually returned to the race but could not keep a competitive pace. After a competition caution period at Lap 15, the No. 5 Chevy was pushed behind the wall to the garage for repairs.
Thank you, Fontana fans. ❤️🏁

Then Brad Keselowski goes for a spin thanks to just a little help from Corey LaJoie as the drivers jockeyed for positions in this final race at California racetrack. Not too much longer afterwards, Kyle Busch got a pit stop penalty for speeding on pit road. Kyle complained he didn’t speed yet the stop watches said otherwise.

Ross Chastain and Clint Boyer radio chatter is a NASCAR classic as Chastain didn’t know how to do a Watermelon Crawl and told Boyer to show him or someone better than him. After winning stage 1.

it is now 11 to go with Kyle Busch leading the way with Elliott, Chastain, and Harvick going after the win. In years past there has been a caution in the final ten laps, but this year could be different. Busch extends out to a three second lead as we come down to 7 laps to go. Hamlin hits the wall thanks to Harvick, but little damage and keeps going with 5 to go in the race, the lead is down to 2 seconds, 6 car tags the wall also but keeps going, and the race is down to 3 laps to go with Kyle Busch leading trying to bring RCR Racing a victory. His lead goes to almost 4 seconds as we are 2 to go in Fontana, now its the final lap as Kyle Busch looks to win this race and does! Kyle Busch is your winner of the final race in Fontana!
