Lacey Lane Vs. Deonna Purrazzo: ROH Women’s Pure Championship
Lacey Lane had a Proving Grounds match against ROH Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo, in which of she wins or goes to the time limit, she’d get a shot at that title. She debuted a new finisher, and the announcers tried to hype it up, but after a slow, sweatless match, a suplex into a bridge-pin doesn’t work. Purrazzo retained after they reach used a rope break.
Filler: ROH Results
New ROH World Television Champion Action Andretti had a squash match with everybody’s favorite “already in the ring.” Boom Harden got a introduction on the mic, at least.
The Rascalz had a trios match against Nick Commarado, Aaron Solo, and Tome Filip. The announcers were working hard, hyping this up beforehand; however, it was another squash.
The Beast Mortos, with Sammy Guevara, went one-on-one with another “already in the ring,” Rob Vegas. This one lasted merely seconds.
The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage and RPG Vice) followed with a third squash match in a row, truly feeling like a mockery to the crowds intelligence.
Viva Van & Vert Vixen Vs. Zayda Steel & Red Velvet
Viva Van and Vert Vixen had a tag match against Zayda Steel and ROH Women’s Television Champion Red Velvet. They gave the losers and introduction and moment to shine, but it was nothing more that an extended, glorified squash match, as well.
The Premier Athletes Vs. Bang Bang Gang
The Premier Athletes vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Ace Austin) was the main event. This match finally had some physicality and back-and-forth, and The Athletes had time to shine, both on the mic pre-match and in the match itself. The Bang Bang Game was always winning this one, but they made the best of it.
ROH Results: In Conclusion
