Chris Jericho Return
AEW Dynamite opened with the music of the freshly returned Chris Jericho. He was telling the crowd how much he loves the company as he went to sign a new contract, only to be interrupted by The Vision (Ricochet and Gates of Agony). After ripping into Canada and Jericho, the crowd found out that this contract includes a match of his choice at Dynasty. Ricochet found out exactly who he’d choose.
Tommaso Ciampa Vs. Mascara Dorada – AEW Dynamite Results
“Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa and Mascara Dorada went head-to-head to determine the first entrant in the upcoming Casino Gauntlet Match. Both men looked sharp, with Ciampa uber-physical, and Dorada showing off his high-flying abilities. The reversals were elite. The Psycho Killer was never losing this match, but it was entertaining nonetheless.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Picture
“The Rated R Superstar” Cope and Christian Cage came to promote their upcoming title match against FTR at Dynasty. Cage went as far as to claim he slept with both of their mothers, which triggered the champs’ intro music. With the help of what appeared to be hiring mercenaries, the left the challengers on the mat to end the segment.
United Empire Vs. Death Riders – AEW Dynamite Results
United Empire versus Death Riders in an anything goes six-man tornado tag match was next. The teams pulled off numerous dangerous spots. Even without the weapons, the striking was stiff. Will Ospreay obtained the winning pinfall on Jon Moxley, which only adds to their upcoming title match this Sunday at Dynasty.
Kenny Omega And MJF
Number one contender for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at Dynasty, Kenny Omega, took the ring for a promo. As one would expect, MJF eventually interrupted the challenger. The champ appears ready to shake heads, but tried to pull a quick one on Omega; but he was ready for it, leaving MJF lifeless to end the show.
