These AEW Dynamite results are from the stop in Winnipeg on April 1, 2026. Things are heating up on the road to Dynamite, just one week from Sunday.
Chris Jericho Return
Tony Schiavone tried to open the show with a contract signing, and it seemed they truly had pyro issues, which made it awkward. This segment marked the return of Chris Jericho, but the crowd didn’t pop as loud as he’d like, and he spent minutes begging for noise, only to say he’s back.
Kenny Omega Vs. MJF – AEW Dynamite Results
The contract signing for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship match between Kenny Omega and MJF finally got started. Omega was recycling lines from his last promo, before the champ got to his turn, and simply stated he’s better off dead. “Speedball” Mike Bailey came to aid the challenger, as he would lose the title match if he got physical. This twenty-minute segment felt much longer, but it set up Bailey’s one-on-one with the champ in the main event.
The Demand Vs. Kenny Omega, Brody King, & Jack Perry
The Demand (Ricochet and Gates of Agony) took on Omega, Brody King, and AEW National Champion “Jungle” Jack Perry in trios action. Perry was singled out early, building for a hot tag.
Fresh, Omega, and King regained control of the match. This was a physical matchup, but it lacked any storytelling or believable false finishes. The number one challenger for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship picked up the pin for his team.
Pac Vs. Will Ospreay – AEW Dynamite Results
Pac versus Will Ospreay was next, and talk about a tantalizing matchup featuring two of the best. Ospreay was attacked by his opponent during his introduction, but he would not be deterred.
Pac was in control early on, working a shoot neck injury, but the pace did ramp up into an exciting bout. It was the perfect combination of physicality and high flying. Ospreay picked up the victory but was beaten senseless by the Death Riders post-match.
Triangle Of Madness Vs. Mina Shirakawa & Brawling Birds
Triangle of Madness (AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue) versus Mina Shirakawa and the Brawling Birds (Jaime Hayter and Alex Windsor) was next up. This was a vanilla, straightforward match, with Hayter picking up the pinfall.
Mike Bailey Vs. MJF
The main event was a title eliminator match where, if Bailey defeated MJF, he’d get a title shot. Speedball was attacked during introductions, but came back for a nice back-and-forth, really showing off his high-flying and martial arts skills. The champ was ultimately victorious, but it was a nice showcase for the up-and-comer.
