Willow Nightingale after beating Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at AEW Dynamite New Year's Smash
These AEW Collision results are from the March 28, 2026, episode in Cedar Rapids, IA.
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Match
The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) opened the show with a shot at Divine Dominion (Lena Cross and Megan Bayne) and their AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship. The relatively new champs showed growth, executing numerous powerful and smooth tandem moves. Bayne and Nightingale had arguably the best back-and-forth with chops of any women’s match. The challengers had believable false finishes, but the champions ultimately retained.
Myron Reed Vs. Johnny TV – AEW Collision Results
Myron Reed, followed by his faction mates of The Rascalz, had a singles match with Johnny TV, accompanied by his faction. It had a few entertaining high spots, but it was a relatively short win, without much storytelling
Death Riders Vs. Private Party – AEW Collision Results
The Death Riders (Daniel Garcia and AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley), accompanied by the others in their faction, had a tag match against Private Party (Izaiah Cassidy and Mark Quinn). On one hand, Private Party looked sharp in the loss, but on the other hand, haven’t they been doing that in AEW for years?
Mina Shirakawa, Brawling Birds, & Triangle Of Madness
Mina Shirakawa teamed with the Brawling Birds (Jaime Hayter and Alex Windsor) to challenge a staple of Collision, wrestlers “already in the ring.” As expected, a boring, quick, squash match. Hayter grabbed a mic post victory, only to be interrupted by the Triangle of Madness (AEW Women’s World Champion, and the Sisters of Sin, Skye Blue and Julia Hart). They will face off in a trios match next week.
AEW International Championship Match
The main event was for the AEW International Championship: one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions, “The Jet” Keven Knight, challenging “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada. Knight has never looked better. He’s always brought the pace and high-flying, but he was much more than a spot monkey on this night. Everything was stiff, laid in, and believable, without losing his high-flying identity. In reality, he never had a shot to become a double champion, but he showed up in this match. Okada, as always, a genius in the ring, and one of the best strikers in the game.
