The Furman Paladins welcome the Queens Royals in Game 2 of the Furman Invitational at Timmons arena. Both teams looking to improve the schedule as Furman would love to sweep the weekend at home.

Set 1
The Paladins are able to get the first set 25-9 over Queens with great team play and timely digs Izzy Castelloe leads the way with kills for the Paladins while Emily Navarro is having a stellar game so far with double digit assist and leading with Digs. Kennedy Seekford and Brooke Scheffler are also helping lead the Paladins in Digs. The Paladins finished strong to head into set 2!

Set 2
Queens take off fast to the lead over the Paladins and is up 13-8 at this point of the set. The Paladins call a much-needed timeout as its 19-9 Queens up on the Paladins. Izzy still leads the Paladins with 14 kills, a .481 percentage so far. its 20-12 as the Paladins are getting back in the game and we have a great volley between the two teams where Queens finally gets the point and its 21-12. The Paladins keep fighting back and its 23-18 in set 2 as the fans are into the game. Its set point and Queens win set 2 25-19!
Queens (N.C.) bounces back in set two. The match is tied at 1-1.

Set 3
The Paladins lead into a media timeout 15-12 as they look to rebound from the set 2 loss. Queens is keeping it close, but the Paladins are starting to pull away at every chance. The Paladins are now at 23-15 in Set 3 and look to be taking this one away from Queens. Furman is set point 24-16 as Queens take a timeout to try and hold serve. The Paladins get the win and now lead 2-1 as we head into the 4th set!

Set 4
Queens starts out strong and get the lead but the Paladins fire back and its 6-5 Royals with the lead. Furman is playing great defense, and digs are on time as they tie 6-6 with Queens. Its 16-15 Paladins as the teams are giving great effort for the fans. Furman is able to win the final set 25-20 and get the 3-1 set win for the night.
