The Greenville Drive was hoping a name change to the Black Spinners would help them get back to the winning ways, yet the Dash escaped with the victory 7-5 on Saturday night at Fluor Field.

The Dash jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Boston Smith walks which Kyle Lodise scores, and Caleb Bonemer moves to 3rd allowing Kaleb Freeman to 2nd. Then in the top of the 4th inning, James Taussig homers (2) on a fly ball to right field making the score 2-0 Dash.
Alex Bouchard is done for the day as Ben Hansen gets the ball.

The Spinners would battle back in the game in the bottom of the 4th inning when Luke Heyman doubles (1) on a sharp line drive to center fielder George Wolkow allowing Gerardo Rodriguez to 3rd. The Spinners would finally get on the board when Isaiah Jackson doubles (6) on a fly ball to left fielder Ely Brown, Gerardo Rodriguez scores while Luke Heyman goes to 3rd. The score is now 2-1 Dash still ahead. Jack Winnay singles on a line drive to left fielder Ely Brown, Luke Heyman scores making it 2-2 with Isaiah Jackson to moving to 3rd. The Spinners was on a roll, Mason White grounds out to second baseman Kyle Lodise to first baseman Arxy Hernandez then Isaiah Jackson scores making it 3-2 Spinners. Yophery Rodriguez singles on a fly ball to right fielder James Taussig, Jack Winnay scores and its 4-2 Spinners heading into the 5th inning.

He scored the first run of the game for the Black Spinners and kicked off what would be a four-run rally.

The Dash would answer the Spinners when James Taussig homers (3) on a line drive to right field. Ryan Burrowes scores, Kaleb Freeman scores and its 5-4.

Then we go to the bottom of the 9th inning when the Spinners would tie it up when a wild pitch by pitcher Pierce George allows Enddy Azocar to score and its 5-5 and we head to free baseball at Fluor Field. Now to the top 11th inning when a wild pitch by pitcher Danny Kirwin of the Spinners allows Kyle Lodise to score and Ryan Burrowes to 2nd. Burrowes would then score when George Wolkow grounds out to first baseman Gerardo Rodriguez making it 7-5 and the Dash would shut the door on the Spinners Saturday night.
