From Coach Haas:
“To be an elite team, you have to deliver standout rounds like we did today and we’re very proud of the guys. We talked last night and said regardless, whether we move up or not, let’s have a day to remember. Shooting 14 under and having the low round of the day is a good way to end the week. Big thanks to Chris Hurd, the Wake Forest baseball legend, for hosting us this week right here on property. What an awesome event, as this is one of the premier events of the spring. The Ford Field & River Club is a great golf course, hosting a wonderful field and it’s nice to be included. There’s lots of good golf ahead, and we will continue to build on this as we head towards the postseason. Go Deacs!”
