DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – The Furman competitive cheerleading team recorded a 13th place showing in the Intermediate All Girl Division I at the 2026 NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Paladins recorded a final event score of 90.2176 to finish in 13th place out of 31 teams. Furman was in ninth place following the preliminary round with a one-point deduction and raw score of 90.8148.

Maine compiled the top score in the preliminaries before California Baptist captured the Intermediate All Girl Division I title with a score of 96.4769. The top five also consisted of Lindenwood (96.2824), Stephen F. Austin (95.1806), Morgan State (94.44901), and Mercer (94.3704).

This season marked the third time in four years that Furman has competed in the NCA College Nationals. The Paladins secured a 10th place finish last year and registered a 14th place performance in 2023.
