AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley - Credit AEW
AEW Collision results – April 4, 2026
Anthony Bowens Vs. Jon Moxley
“The Pride of Professional Wrestling” Anthony Bowens had an AEW Continental Championship eliminator match against Jon Moxley, where, if he won, he would then get a shot at the title. Bowens seems to be transitioning his happy, high-pace style into a serious, brawler type. That may not be the best idea. While anyone can understand a rebrand, he’s just not selling it yet. After his victory, Moxley was attacked by Will Ospreay.
Moxley quickly powdered, but left his title at Ospreay’s feet. The two are scheduled for the Dynasty card, with the AEW Continental Championship on the line.
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions – The Divine Dominion
The next match was AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lina Cross), for an unknown reason, in a non-title match, against an unknown team already in the ring. In what world does a champion need a squash match?
Hikaru Shida Returns To Answer TBS Open Challenge
Willow Nightingale hosted an open challenge for her TBS Championship, which the returning Hikaru Shida answered. Shida looked sharp, especially considering she had missed about a year and a half. Both stars were physical, but also took risky high spots. This match overdelivered on expectations, with believable false finishes for both ways. The champion retained, while the challengers seem to be hinting at a heel turn.
AEW World Tag Team Champions – FTR
Back to the illogical matches – this time, AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR (Dak Hardwood and Cash Wheeler) had their own match with an unknown team already in the ring. After the title retention, Christian Cage and Adam Copeland stormed the ring. A low-blow, biting, steel chairs, all included in their attack on the champions.
Juice Robins Vs. Tomasso Ciampa
Juice Robinson, accompanied by Ace Austin, took the ring to take on “Psycho Killer” Tomasso Ciampa in singles action. Not the quickest match, but the strikes were legitimate and stiff. Ciampia won a physical, old-school matchup.
The Don Callis Family Vs. The Rascalz
Andrade El Idolo and Mark Davis of The Don Callis Family took on The Rascalz (Desmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) in tag action. Xavier and Wentz looked great in the loss, but Andrade and Davis were just too big and strong.
Eight-Man Tornado Tag Main Event
The main event of these AEW Collision results was an eight-man tornado tag match. It was The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors) and Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) versus The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong), with two-thirds on the AEW World Trios Champions, Mistico and “The Jet” Kevin Knight. Strong stood out on the babyface team; while entertaining and high-flying, he has soft teammates. He ramped up the intensity and striking.
