The No. 2 Trojans (8-1) traveled to Hartsville on Saturday and earned a dominant 28-15 victory over the Cobras (6-4).
“Good to get back in the win column,” said Head Coach Albert Mitchell. “We played fast early and got a lot of guys involved.”
The Trojans got off to an explosive start, boasting back-to-back nine-goal quarters to open the game. Six-straight goals from the Black and Gold in Q1, followed by two four-goal stints to end the first and start the second quarters, proved to be the offensive force needed to top the Cobras. The contest favored the Trojans 18-6 at halftime.
