The United States intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released the 2026 Men’s Coaches Division II Poll for the week of March 9, moving the Trojans up to the 2nd-ranked team in the country—the new highest-ever ranking in program history.

The surge in the poll comes after AU’s upset overtime 14-13 victory over then-No. 2 University of Tampa over the weekend. The Trojans and the Spartans both entered the matchup undefeated, and after a competitive game that saw an even scoreline both at halftime and at the final whistle, Anderson inevitably got the win with a sudden death goal scored by Trojan captain Brayden Bushnoe (Myrtle Beach, S.C.).
