The Anderson Trojans Women’s Basketball (6-8, 2-6 SAC) welcomed in the Catawba Indians (6-7, 4-4 SAC) in a huge SAC matchup for both teams as we head for the homestretch in basketball before the SAC Tournament. The lady trojans had a huge weekend win over Tusculum and Catawba had a huge win over VVA-Wise Saturday.

The Trojans would go back and forth with the Indians and both teams would battle with the lead several times as Anderson would go into halftime with a 34-31 halftime lead on the back of its top scorer #4 Ashely Hill. The Trojans would come out of halftime hoping to extend the lead, but the Indians would keep it close and take the several times before the Lady Trojans would pull away with 5 minutes to go in the game and get the win 67-57 and start a two-game win streak.
