Gonzaga took a trip to Nashville Friday night to take on SEC basketball power Kentucky in what many seen as a home game for Kentucky and came away with a huge 94-59 win. Graham Ike would have a season high 28 points while getting 10 rebounds for the 11th ranked Bulldogs in the route of the 18th ranked Wildcats.

Gonzaga (8-1) got its third Top 25 win this season while also beating its third Southeastern Conference team, all by double digits. The Bulldogs who had not played since being beat by #7 Michigan in Las Vegas had several players having great nights. Braden Huff added 20 points for the Bulldogs, while Adam Miller and Braeden Smith each had 11.

Gonzaga never trailed in the game, scoring the first seven points. Kentucky’s fans booed the Wildcats off the court at halftime, when they trailed by 23 points. Gonzaga kept padding its lead in the second half as fans of the Wildcats began to leave in packs. The Bulldogs led by 37 inside the final minute of the game.

Kentucky (5-4) got guard Jaland Lowe back from an injured right shoulder, came off the bench as the Wildcats lost their second straight. They fell 67-64 to No. 16 North Carolina on Tuesday night. Otega Oweh led Kentucky with 16 points and Collin Chandler scored 11.
