AEW Dynamite 300
The latest AEW Dynamite was a special 300th episode. With only one more episode before All In, there were plenty of obvious squash matches given to talents on the PPV Card. Nonetheless, there were moments of entertaining wrestling. These are the three key takeaways as the event grows near.
1) AEW World Heavyweight Championship Update
To open the show, “Hangman” Adam Page cut an emotional promo ahead of his championship match against Jon Moxley. The Deathriders and The Young Bucks have been causing Page grief lately, and this is his way of evening the odds by challenging him to a Texas Death Match. After a brawl that also included The Opps, Mox accepted the offer.
2) No. 2 Spot In Casino Gauntlet Match
This was a four-way match featuring MJF, AR Fox, Anthony Bowens, and Brody King. The match had physicality and a high-flying nature, leading to numerous false finishes. MJF went on to win the match and the number two spot in the Casino Gauntlet match.
3) AEW EVPs Versus Swerve and Ospreay
After winning a tag match, these two tag teams would grab the mics. Strickland has been challenging them for their job. The stipulation of the babyfaces being out of the world title picture for one year was added, which got The Young Bucks to accept.
In a predictable episode of Dynamite, these are the three takeaways as we get closer to All In. This episode also showed the need for the company to start protecting some moves, some things should not be kicked oom.
