The Furman Paladins Women’s Basketball team (8-3) took on a tough Charleston Southern team (3-8) at North Greenville’s Haynes Gym in front of a great crowd and walked away with a 58-42 win. The Paladins was down at halftime 25-22 before going on a great 20-8 run in the fourth quarter to get their 4th win in a row.

The Paladins was led by Tate Walters with 17 points, 3 rebounds and 5 steals while Niveya Henley added 14 points and 7 rebounds, and Sydney Ryan had 12 points and 8 rebounds in the win. The Paladins went 22% from 3-point range while shooting 62.5% from the free throw line.

The Paladins will be back in action Wednesday night at UNC Asheville at 6:30pm for those wanting to travel up and support the team before heading on a west coast trip to play Boise State and Washington in Seattle at a tournament before the holidays.
