The Furman Paladins Men’s Basketball (4-0) was able to slam the door on the Tulane Green Wave (3-1) last night 75-67 at the Bons Secours Wellinses Arena. PJay Smith Jr. had 29 points 3 steals, and 3 assists, while adding 2 rebounds in the strong effort that even Coach Richey said, “He is our Point Guard, everyone said we have no point guard, he has proven he is”.

Davis Molnar had a great game from the bench getting 10 rebounds and 6 points as the Paladins seem to be getting help from every player on the team each game. The Paladins was 39% from FG range, 36% from 3-point range and 81% from the FT line. Furman led the entire game and allowed only a few close calls during the game, yet found ways to shut down the Tulane offense.
