AEW Dynamite opened this week with The Hurt Syndicate in the ring. They were quickly interrupted by Swerve Strickland, whom The Hurt Syndicate had attacked the previous week. Swerve challenged Lashley to a match at Full Gear, which was promptly accepted.
The first match of the night would be Claudio Castagnoli and Pac versus Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin in a tag-team match. The fight would start on the entrance ramp with a crazy highspot from Darby Allin before he actually made it to the ring for the official match commencement. Pac and Claudio would look strong leading up to the hot tag for Darby Allin, who went on a lightning-quick comeback. It would go back-and-forth from there, with both teams being very physical. Marina Shafir would end up knocking the referee unconscious, which led to Jon Moxley jumping in and everything turning to mayhem. Orange Cassidy took a crazy-looking bump when Claudio threw him into the ring post. The Conglomeration would eventually come to save the day.
The next match would be The Conglomeration versus The Learning Tree in a six-man anything-goes match. This was a quickly accepted hardcore spot match, but the spots were pretty good—tables, ladders, etc., numerous huge spots all over the arena. Ishii would ultimately win the match for The Conglomeration.
Adam Cole versus Malakai Black would be next. Another very physical match for Dynamite this week, which saw Malakai break the wall after losing the match and hugging his friend.
A backstage interview with Jay White quickly turned into an arena brawl with “Hangman” Adam Page. Hangman had his leg tangled up when he was saved by his friend, Juice Robinson. It will be Jay White versus Adam Page at Full Gear.
The next segment would be a face-to-face between Christian Cage and Hook. Christian had attacked Taz last week and said he wished Taz was dead. Hook would storm the ring and take out the entire security team. Christian would walk away unscathed.
Penelope Ford would lose a relatively short match next, to Jamie Hayter.
Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher versus Ricochet and Powerhouse Hobbs. This had a couple of good false finishes before Ricochet ended up pinning Takeshita. After the match, Fletcher would attack Ricochet until interrupted by Marc Davis, who has been trying to get him off his heel antics as of late. The rest of The Don Callis Family as well as Adam Cole would all come out for a brawl, leading to Will Ospreay rushing Kyle Fletcher.
