The Cats had a starting lineup of 6’5″ Clara Strack, 6’4″ Teonni Key, 6’3 Amelia Hassett, 5’9″ Dazia Lawrence, and 5’6″ Georgia Amoore. The size seemed to overwhelm the smaller Spartans, Brooks also brought in the 6’7″ freshman Clara Silva off the bench as well. Clara Strack led the Cats with 22 points and 6 rebounds, however, all three of Key, Hassett, and Silva added 14 points each.
Georgia Amoore had a double double with 11 points and ten assist. The Cats had five players in double figures while Dazia Lawrence debut with nine points. The Wildcats shot 35-67 for 52.2% from the floor while hitting 8-27 from three. Clara Silva finished the night with six blocks as the size advantage helped to take over the game.
