AEW Dynamite opened this week with Adam Cole in the ring for a promo. He directed this segment toward MJF, calling him fake. He called him out for a fight, but MJF only appeared on the jumbotron. They went back-and-forth, but MJF would not grant Adam Cole his request, to which Adam replied that MJF could not hide forever.
It's not IF it is going to happen, but WHEN is Adam Cole going to get his hands on MJF.

The first match of the night featured FTR versus Big Bill and Brian Keith. This was a solid match with all men getting some action. There was nothing spectacular to note, positive or negative.

The TBS Championship would be on the line next, seeing Mercedes Mone defend against Queen Aminata. This was another average match, perhaps a bit sloppier than the last match. Mone would win via submission.

The next match would see The Conglomerate versus The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada in a trios match. This one had the best pace so far, with all six men in and out of the ring with constant action. The end of the match would see Wheeler Yuta appear out of nowhere to attack Orange Cassidy. The rest of the Blackpool Combat Club would join in the assault. Top Flight would run to the ring to aid Orange, but they were outnumbered and also beaten up. The Elite would continue to observe as even more wrestlers came to help Orange, only to be beaten up as well.

Leo Rush versus Shelton Benjamin would be next. This was surprisingly more than a squash debut for Shelton Benjamin, both men looking pretty good. Benjamin would ultimately win via pinfall.

The next segment was a press conference featuring Don Callis. Callis introduced two of the newest members of The Don Callis Family, Lance Archer and Brian Cage. He then brought out Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher, two of the more veteran members of the faction. The purpose of the press conference was to showcase this new iteration of The Don Callis Family.
Why Kyle Why?

The main event featured Jay White versus Christian Cage. This was quite a stiff match with good false finishes going both ways. It was certainly the match of the night. Kip Sabian and Adam Page interfered from outside the ring to assist Christian in securing the victory.
